How do you get into programming?The road to being a fully fledged software developer is as varied as the people who work in the industry. That is, there is no well worn path to 'get into code'. You also hear a lot of people saying that software developers need 'a certain mindset', an idea that I certainly do not subscribe to.
Anyone can learn to code, young or old. Actually the industries best kept secret is that it is very easy to learn.
We offer a full days training and development course online, with an instructor to teach you the basics. You will learn:
- The basics of computing
- The building blocks for the different kinds of applications
- The basic differences between languages and where they are used
- Where to go next

Students
Problems with your course?Very often first and second year Computer Science students struggle with the core concepts of programming, as well as the syntax for the language they are studying. This can usually be easily corrected with some 1:1 coaching. We offer a broad range of lessons in many languages to help with any problems that students are facing, whether it is project work or brushing up for exams. We charge these session per hour, at £50.
Sessions are to your schedule, and can be taught anytime. Your first session will be an introduction, and to find out a bit more about you and your requirements. Courses are online, unless in the Greater Cardiff area, and then we can accomodate home lessons.

A more specific problem?
Have an I.T. problem or programming problem you need help with?We can offer ad-hoc consultancy from setting emails up to very specific programming problems. This can be charged at 1 day, half a day or by the hour.

Want to learn C#/.net?C# is a general-purpose, multi-paradigm programming language. C# encompasses static typing, strong typing, lexically scoped, imperative, declarative, functional, generic, object-oriented (class-based), and component-oriented programming disciplines.
C# has always been a popular language, however we are seeing more and more jobs in the I.T. sector looking for this language. We can provide a one day course to get you up to speed on the language and provide the basics so that you can progress and learn either in your own time, or with a further Advanced course with us.
